The Scoop

In 2019, a sports injury ended my bodybuilding journey, and I was searching for a new challenge. That’s when I heard about a marathon that loops around a single building. It sounded absurd, but I decided to try it. At the time, I’d never run more than a few miles and struggled with recurring injuries. Through consistent learning and smart training, I built endurance and found ways to stay injury-free.

Since then, I’ve raced distances from 5k to 50 miles and am now focused on qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon in 2028. My degree in kinesiology, along with my certifications as a UESCA Running Coach, ACE Personal Trainer, and Precision Nutrition Coach, has been essential in improving my training—and I use that same knowledge to help athletes I work with.

At APTFit, I help runners of all levels improve performance, build strength, and stay injury-free. My coaching combines running techniques with functional movement, strength training, and injury prevention to ensure sustainable progress.

Whether you’re training for your first 5k or aiming for a marathon PR, my goal is to help you run smarter, not harder. I’ve learned through trial and error so you don’t have to—together, we’ll create a plan that keeps you focused and injury-free as you reach your goals.
